Published purpose
This project aims to improve the criminal justice system for children, women, and families in Mexico. Project activities include: (1) assisting the Mexican federal government in establishing a federal body on juvenile justice; (2) assessing the needs of young people involved in the justice system (men and women) in one Mexican State; and (3) providing information to the Mexican judiciary on the main features of the juvenile court and gender-sensitive policies.
