Published purpose
This project focuses on staffing key positions in the Gang Suppression Force (GSF) Secretariat in Haiti. CANADEM will draw on decades of experience in deploying experts to challenging contexts and will utilize its international roster of peace and security experts to rapidly recruit appropriate candidates. Project activities include: 1) advertising positions to recruit candidates, 2) conduct screening of candidates and submit a shortlist of candidates to the hiring panel conducting interviews; and 3) once selected, CANADEM will manage the contracting and deployment, including all financial, logistical, and duty of care elements throughout the assignment. This grant arrangement will enable funding for approximately 20 to 25 positions for up to two years.
