Published purpose
This project aims to increase the freedom and security of human rights defenders in Ukraine. Project activities include: (1) providing protection grants for human rights defenders at risk; (2) providing training and support to help protect the security of human rights defenders, particularly on cyber issues and personal security; (3) mapping human rights defender’s civic space and activities to improve their networks; (4) sharing information on urgent protection cases and broader trends with international actors to lobby for the protection of human rights defenders; and (5) providing institutional support grants to civil society organizations at risk.
