Published purpose

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to: • Collect nationally representative data on the oral health status of Canadians across the lifespan to address (i) the data deficits identified (see How to Apply (WSC: #howtoapply) for details) and (ii) additional questions posed by the successful applicant(s). • Create a cohort of data to enable future multi-jurisdictional research studies on the oral health of Canadians by the greater researcher, clinician and policy making communities. • Create an accessible data platform with collected oral health survey data. Where possible, it is strongly encouraged that this data platform integrate and harmonize with one or more of existing CIHR data investments. • Provide a multidisciplinary training and mentoring approach in order to build capacity for Oral Health research.
