Published purpose
• The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) has a mandate to support research that reduces the burden of cancer on individuals and families through prevention strategies, screening, diagnosis, effective treatments, psycho-social support systems, and palliation. This priority announcement will fund research in the following research areas: o Equity in Cancer Prevention and Control with a focus on disparities among populations: ¿ To support research on equity in Cancer prevention and Control with a focus on disparities among populations. ¿ For the purpose of this PA, populations of interest include those in which health equity is impacted by geography, race, language, culture, or other barriers.
