Jordan Armed Forces

Published purpose

This project aims to provide funding to the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) to cover travel, accommodation, meals, and incidentals for its analysts to be trained at the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) Partner Integration Enterprise (CPIE) in Qatar. Project activities include: (1) selecting JAF analysts to be trained for 4-month rotations; (2) delivering on-site training of JAF analysts; and (3) mentorship of JAF analysts by supervisors and instructors until their skills are proficient to work independently. The project seeks to strengthen Canada’s relationship with Jordan and enable the JAF to develop and maintain critical capabilities to maintain regional stability efforts and contribute to coalition counterterrorism operations.
