Published purpose

This project aims high pathogenicity avian influenza (HPAI) represents an ongoing threat to global animal and public health, food security, and biodiversity calling for coordinated international efforts. This project aims to develop a global risk communication campaign to enhance awareness and understanding of HPAI risks, prevention strategies, and control measures. The campaign will align with WOAH's science-based standards and international guidelines. Key activities include the creation of communication materials that focus on HPAI risk management, biosecurity, surveillance, vaccination, zoning, and compartmentalization. The campaign will draw from the expertise of AI global experts and communication specialists to ensure consistent and effective messaging targeting various audiences in both the public and private sectors.
