Published purpose
Sanctions play a central role in foreign and security policy. However, these regulations create enormous complexity, a heavy regulatory burden and additional costs for the companies and organisations that need to comply with them, notably NGOs. The project aims to contribute to the evidence base on the extent of sectoral sanctions and their impact on humanitarian action as well as exploring the safeguards, where they exist, to overcome these challenges.
