Published purpose

This initiative aims to examine the trajectories of emerging and disruptive technologies (EDT) and other weapons of mass destruction relevant technologies (WMD-RT). This is done to identify those that either present WMD threats that can be countered or have the potential to support WMD non-proliferation and counter-terrorism efforts. Project activities include: (1) conducting a Global Mapping and Horizon Scanning Workshop; (2) conducting a Scenario Building and Futures Workshop and; and (3) producing a final report and action plan that provides insights and recommendations for Global Partnership action on weapons of mass destruction (WMD) Related Technologies.
