Published purpose
This project aims to increase training opportunities for Caribbean and Central American women to effectively respond to and bolster their efforts to combat illicit small arms trafficking. Project activities include: (1) conducting sub-regional legal review of small arms laws with domestic violence provisions; (2) providing technical assistance to senior level policy makers on legislative policies and frameworks through sub-regional workshops; and (3) women-only arms control training and mentoring delivered.
