Published purpose

The project aims to improve the pre-service teacher training program directly at four Teacher Training Institutes (TTIs) in Maputo, Tete, Cabo Delgado and Niassa provinces by working with the TTI Instructors, student-teachers, current teachers and school management teams to explore innovative and effective teaching and management approaches. To ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the training, the project would include an innovative ‘real-time’ feedback function between the TTIs and the partner primary schools. Furthermore, the project would work with the community to emphasize the linkages between formal education, poverty reduction, livelihood opportunities and socio-economic growth.
