Published purpose
For the Fall 2024 CIHR Fellowship Priority Announcements, the CIHR Institute of Aging (CIHR-IA) will fund up to three fellowship applications: two within the Brain Health and Cognitive Impairment in Aging Research Initiative priority areas and one within the Ageism and Older Adults priority area. CIHR-IA applications in the Brain Health and Cognitive Impairment in Aging area must align with the CIHR Institute of Aging Strategic Plan 2023-2028 and must focus on Brain Health and Cognitive Impairment in Aging priority areas. CIHR-IA applications in the Ageism and Older Adults priority area must align with one of the three main research areas as described in our Strategic Plan 2023-2028 Reframing Aging Empowering Older Adults.
