Published purpose
This project is part of Global Affairs Canada’s International Youth Internship Program (IYIP), funded by the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy. The IYIP is designed to offer Canadian post-secondary graduates the opportunity to gain professional experience in international development. The Carrefour de solidarité internationale sends 112 interns to four countries as part of the Professional Internships project. A significant proportion of internships aim to promote democracy and gender equality. The other internships seek to support eco-friendly economic development and food security.
