Published purpose

Conduct fisheries research and training and also increase market access to sealing products and overall education on the sector. Includes sub-projects comprising of data collection to make sound management decisions and to fill knowledge gaps on Nunavut fisheries, specifically Greenland Halibut and Arctic Char, increase training and marketing opportunities for current and potential fishers and promote and encourage additional market access for purchasing seal products and increase education on Nunavut's sealing economy.
