Published purpose
The purpose of this grant is to provide support to a team of astronomers at the University of Alberta with their analysis of the ASTROSAT observations of the Black Hole X-ray Binary GX 339-4. The objective of the study is to measure the X-ray properties of this system during an outburst and compare them with modern accretion and jet models.
