Published purpose

Following the JWST ERS and Cycle 1 GO Announcement of Opportunity published on June 14, 2021, the CSA is providing funding via a Grant Agreement to the university to conduct research using the JWST. This project will observe the full suite of transiting planet characterization geometries (transits, eclipses, and phase curves), and target planets with host stars that span an illustrative range of brightnesses. These observations, taken with the time-series modes of all four JWST instruments, will provide a compelling set of representative datasets and enable immediate scientific breakthroughs.
