Published purpose

Following the JWST ERS and Cycle 2 GO Announcement of Opportunity published on July 6, 2023, the CSA is providing funding via a Grant Agreement to the university to conduct their research using the JWST data. This project will use new NIRISS F150W observations to complete “Webb’s First Deep Field” Early Release Observations (EROs) of the field. The current NIRISS EROs are limited to F115W and F200W settings only, missing the middle F150W filter. The new F150W observations will enable a wealth of science for the z=0.39 cluster galaxies in the field that was not previously achievable with the F115W and F200W filters.
