Published purpose
This project aims to enhance the capacity of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Land Border Regiments (LBR) in countering terrorism, preventing illicit border infiltration, and securing Lebanese borders. Project activities include (1) the procurement and delivery of equipment; (2) training to ensure the LAF can repair, maintain, and sustain the equipment for operations in harsh alpine and remote border terrain.
