Published purpose
This project provides targeted technical assistance to the authorities of Pakistan to enhance border management controls, through coordinated engagement with the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) in Islamabad. Project activities include: (1) a comprehensive assessment of existing technical and operational capacities at the NCB in Islamabad, the Islamabad International Airport, and selected other crossings; (2) the development and delivery of a tailored training curriculum on the use of INTERPOL policing capabilities and priority crime areas, including the provision of equipment; and (3) the practical application of knowledge and skills acquired during the training phase to ensure effective implementation and sustainability.
