Published purpose
This project supports the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in improving global aviation security. Project activities include: (1) providing technical assistance and expert development in the Americas; (2) providing technical assistance and expert development in the Asia and Pacific region with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and funding the Cooperative Aviation Security Programme – Asia Pacific; (3) supporting the Cooperative Aviation Security Programme – Middle East (4) developing and updating training material for member states; and (5) contributing to the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme.
