Published purpose
This project seeks to address, through a series of distinct but complementary initiatives, a set of serious threats related to bioterrorism and biological weapons in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. It aims to fill critical gaps and strengthen essential capacities to prevent, detect, and counter various biological threats. These threats could significantly harm the security and safety of each ASEAN member state and pose serious risks to the entire ASEAN region, as well as to Canada and Canadians.
