Published purpose
This portion of the larger project works to respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, through developing and disseminating information, education, and communication materials, including SMS and pre-recorded radio messages promoting prevention at the community level. This project also aims to procure radio for girls and vulnerable families to ensure that girls can continue with their remote learning. Previously planned community engagement activities have been revised to sensitize key groups to COVID-19 issues. As well, construction and rehabilitation activities have been modified to include hand-washing stations in formal and informal school locations.
