Published purpose
This project aims to strengthen implementation of case-management toolkits for forced disappearances and torture of woman, men and youth and improve criminal justice gender-responsive response to victims of cases of disappeared persons and torture related to organized crime actions in El Salvador. The project activities include: (1) creating specialized task forces for the use of case management tool of disappeared persons and torture in the 4 jurisdictions of El Salvador; (2) delivering training by trainers to specialized task forces and key judicial authorities on the application of toolkit for cases of appeared persons and torture; and (3) implementing standardized work plans by specialized task forces for the investigation of cases in the four jurisdictions.
