Published purpose

The Recipient agrees to facilitate the development of the newly formed British Columbia Indigenous Justice Association (BCIJA) through several activities. They include bringing together BCIJA members and advisors, conducting research on different structures of and steps of establishing a provincial organization, designing website to share communications, arranging a 3-day board governance structure training, strategic planning for BCIJA, as well as developing and potentially finalizing by-laws. With inclusion of all Indigenous justice partners in British Columbia, this project will support sustainable community development and build a strong partnership among community-based Indigenous justice programs in the province.
