Published purpose

This project aims to support efforts to combat antisemitism and other forms of discrimination, contributing to more equal, inclusive, resilient societies across the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe region. It seeks to eliminate all forms of discrimination and marginalization. Project activities include: (1) assisting security institutions and civil society organizations to work together to respond to the specific security needs of Jewish and other minority communities; (2) working with education policymakers and specialists to raise awareness of the importance of education on anti-Semitism and other forms of discrimination. This done is through a series of policy meetings and the dissemination of education tools, guidance and good practices; (3) supporting civil society action on anti-Semitism, other forms of discrimination, and hate crime through capacity building and facilitating coalitions; and (4) providing national security institutions with technical assistance to strengthen legislation, policies and practice to combat hate crime.
