Alberta will also establish an Indigenous Elders Advisory group (HUGG), which will inform the FILU model and family safety plans, ensure that the FILU is culturally safe, foster trusting relationships between the FILU and Indigenous communities and to inform and participate in cultural gatherings and ceremonies.
