Published purpose
The University of Alberta will undertake several activities in collaboration with Indigenous communities to support the revitalization and development of Indigenous laws and governance structures through the further development of the Wahkohtowin Law and Governance Lodge. These activities will involve hiring a lawyer/legal researcher and research assistants to develop accessible and clear public legal education materials on Indigenous law topics and hosting a training workshop on Indigenous laws and governance methodology.
