Published purpose
The organization will establish two external case review teams to review sexual assault files that have not resulted in a charge. One team will review RCMP files and the other team will review Winnipeg Police Service files. The initiative will provide valuable feedback on the investigative process and identify gaps in both the justice system response and the delivery of services for victims and survivors of sexual assault in Manitoba.
