Published purpose
The organization will collaborate with lawyers and community partners working with seniors across the province to carry out a number of initiatives to provide legal support and advice to seniors at risk of abuse and neglect. These initiatives will include a series of legal clinics, combining in-person and virtual consultations with lawyers, as well as online information sessions for seniors in communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador and the distribution of legal education materials. The activities will prioritize reaching seniors in rural and remote areas of the province that have a lack of lawyers and other legal supports.
