Published purpose
This project will serve the needs of diverse and underserved families experiencing separation and divorce by providing new legal tools for women and their communities related to the changes to the Divorce Act. The organization will provide training to service providers on these changes, focusing on family violence and post-separation parenting arrangements. The project will also include a public legal education campaign to increase awareness about the changes to the law as they affect women leaving abuse.
