Published purpose
Tr'ondek Hwech'in Government's "Counselling and Support for Indigenous Victim Support Court Worker Project" addresses the need to provide victim specific services for those involved in the Justice System. The Victim Support Court Worker will inform victims about resources available to them; share information about the court process and available options; will provide referrals to available programs and services for victims of crime, their families and others personally impacted by crime; and will attend and follow-up with the victims through the restorative justice process.
