Published purpose

Community Based Research Centre will develop and disseminate a series of Public Legal Education and Information (PLEI) resources and materials on conversion therapy and the new federal conversion therapy ban, which will be tailored for key audiences and stakeholders. The project will utilize a collaborative and intersectional approach to engage key audiences and stakeholder groups, including conversion therapy survivors, LGBTQ2+ community organizations and service providers, faith-based organizations and social networks, healthcare and social service providers, and immigrant, refugee, and newcomer serving organizations and service providers. The project will also prioritize engagement with racialized communities and groups to ensure PLEI resources to specifically address their knowledge and information needs.
