Published purpose
This multi-year project focuses on addressing systemic barriers to the use of restorative and transformative justice options in the communities served by Agency Chiefs Tribal Council justice program in Northern Saskatchewan. Local criminal justice system actors, including those working in circuit courts, and other partners will collaborate to assess needs, develop approaches based on best practices and implement effective solutions to divert more matters out of the mainstream system and into communities.
