Published purpose
The project will provide community education and advocacy to improve women’s experiences in the family justice system in the form of public legal education events. The education sessions will focus on the impact of trauma and need for changes to the family justice system to protect victims of intimate partner violence. Furthermore, this project will host a conference/workshop to discuss the barriers and concerns for victims of intimate partner violence, as well as ways to better support these victims.
