Published purpose
This project aims to contribute to the implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (UNDA) and Action Plan, by educating Indigenous women of Manitoba about their rights under the United Nations Declaration, to increase their physical safety, human security, and address the fear, violence and discrimination that has shaped their lived experience through sharing circles, roundtable discussions, and workshops.
