Published purpose

This project will provide traditional support services to families living in Williams Lake and rural Tŝilhqotin communities who have been affected by the loss of missing and murdered members. Over the duration of the project, the organization will ensure that the Yeqox Nilin Justice Society assesses the needs of these families and work towards meeting those needs with a culturally centered traditional approach to healing, provide access to traditional practices that reconnect individuals to culture, provide direct client services to aid in accessing outside supports, and developing a toolkit with resources, education, and healing plans for communities to utilize after the duration of this project.
