Published purpose

This project aims to contribute to the implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (UNDA) and Action Plan, by hiring a dedicated United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) policy advisor for research and development of Indigenous rights to support strategies and policy implementation advice at the systemic level; analyze emerging issues, trends and provide stewardship on measures it will recommend advancing; build and foster relationships with participating First Nations and other Indigenous Peoples; and advise and support Alderville First Nation in being informed on emerging concepts while communicating own aspirations.
