The project address the specific needs of families affected by violence, offering direct support and assistance to navigate the grief and trauma of their loss and provide a safe and welcoming space for Indigenous families whose loved ones have been murdered. The Healing Haven will play a pivotal role in this initiative, which is designed to be a sanctuary to foster a sense of community and healing for families affected by homicide. The Healing Haven serves as a central hub where families can gather, connect with partners, and engage in a range of healing activities, including culturally enriched ceremonies and workshops.
