Published purpose
This project will support a Gathering Series on Customary Laws, focused on sharing and preserving oral history and traditional teachings on customary laws. Sessions will be recorded and a summary report prepared for each session. Key concepts will be translated in Cree, Michif and Dene. The information will guide the development of legislation and legal institutions.
