Published purpose
The Indigenous Victim Support and Empowerment Initiative will bridge the gaps in support services for Indigenous victims of crime by providing culturally safe, survivor-centered services, while improving access to justice. It will enhance the support available while strengthening community and inter-agency partnerships for Indigenous victims allowing for the increase in awareness and engagement within the community.
