Published purpose
Angels of Hope will provide socio-legal support services in French to Francophone Survivors of gender-based violence and human trafficking, including virtual counseling and peer support groups nationwide, and in-person court support in Northeastern Ontario. Services will address mental health, trauma, addictions, relationships, legal navigation, and safety planning, while peer groups focus on wellness, coping strategies, and system navigation. The project aims to increase Survivors’ confidence in pursuing justice, awareness of legal rights, access to support, social connections, and overall well-being.
