Published purpose
This project will pilot First Nations-led Sentencing Circles to advance justice and wellness priorities identified through the Southern Chiefs’ Organization’s Indigenous Justice Strategy. By supporting victims, strengthening offender accountability and reintegration, and engaging Elders and community partners, the initiative aims to improve justice outcomes and reduce the overrepresentation of Southern Chiefs’ Organization's citizens.
