Published purpose
The project will improve access to justice for Black adults involved in the criminal justice system by providing trauma-informed, culturally relevant support. The project will establish a Black-led legal clinic offering free legal guidance, legal information sessions and self-help reources. The project will also provide cultural brokerage services to improve the relationship of the justice system and Black communities.
