Published purpose
The US Department of State uses this funding to support the activities of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) Consultative Group (CG) Chair to promote the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Project activities include: (1) providing logistical, operational and practical on-the-ground expertise; (2) preparing papers for circulation to Participating Governments of the NSG; and (3) providing the NSG CG chair with impartial, direct and substantive technical and policy-related assistance on nuclear export controls.
