Published purpose
This project supports the 2022 and 2023 Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH). This conference is the largest annual Canadian global health forum. It provides a platform for Canadian and low- and middle-income country global health practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and community advocates to share knowledge, experience, and promote innovation and collaborative action to address key global health challenges. The CCGH aims to identify barriers and bottlenecks that may hinder attaining inclusive global health and universal health coverage goals. Project activities include: (1) increasing dialogue with research, community, policy, and practice actors across disciplines in health and other sectors to improve health equity; (2) conducting sessions on gender equality and health equity represented through cross-cutting themes; and (3) conducting sessions on power and approaches to working inclusively and collaboratively in the global health space.
