Published purpose
This funding supports experts from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC)’s National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) to engage in activities to strengthen the UN Secretary General’s Mechanism for Investigation of Alleged Use of Chemical and Biological Weapons (UNSGM). Specifically, this funding aims to enable the NML’s support to : (1) developing a biological crime scene management training curriculum; (2) drafting a new Action Plan to operationalize the UNSGM; and (3) delivering the biological sampling section for the UNSGM Experts basic training course.
