Published purpose

This project aims to build biosafety and biosecurity capacities within Brunei Darussalam at the national and institutional levels. Project activities include: (1) developing a comprehensive national biorisk management framework; (2) delivering a biosecurity training and paper-based certification exam to aspiring local biosecurity professionals; (3) delivering a Biological Risk Assessment training and paper-based certification to aspiring local biosecurity professionals; and (4) establishing a national biorisk management professional association for Brunei integrated within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) regional network of biosafety associations.
