Published purpose
This project aims to strengthens national biosafety and biosecurity programs and associated oversight measures of beneficiary states in Africa and Southeast Asia. Project activities include: (1) organizing and executing the International Experts Group of Biosafety and Biosecurity Regulators (IEGBBR) biennial meeting; (2) providing translation of training materials; (3) organizing and delivering a virtual event focusing on an identified capacity-building need, centered on developing countries or regions; and (4) providing 8 sessions of regulatory biosafety and biosecurity technical expertise to a beneficiary state from both Africa and Southeast Asia.
