Published purpose
This project provides technical assistance from Health Canada to share best practices and safety and security procedures to prevent, detect and respond to nuclear security incidents. Project activity includes providing subject matter expertise and guidance at a trilateral scenario-based policy discussion and tabletop exercise on a nuclear security incident at a major public event. This North American leader’s summit deliverable is aimed at strengthening continental response coordination to a nuclear or radiological security incident.
