To develop and pilot multicultural Reading and Parents Program resource kits (RAPP packs) that will be available online and at community libraries. The RAPP packs will also be available to other agencies who are interested in participating in the program. This project will seek to achieve the following specific objectives: 1. Increase the literacy and essential skills of immigrant Canadians through the adaptation of the RAPP packs. 2. Increase the capacity of practitioners and providers to work with immigrant clients by having the necessary tools (i.e. the RAPP packs) available and by creating a RAPP multicultural Resource Manual.
